12” wooden spoon, cooking spoon, serving spoon

A twelve inch right handed cooking spoon carved in foraged yellow birch with nothing but a hatchet and knives. Baked in the bread oven to a golden brown and the handle was painted with colonial era milk paints. No power tools, no machines and no electricity. A spoon suitable for all types of cooking and serving and what a fine gift idea. Chefs prefer wood and wood will not scratch your pots and pans. I am told this design, for many, is the ultimate cooking spoon. Seasoned with a food safe mixture of coconut oil, mineral oil and beeswax. Thank you for looking.
