Sorry, this item has sold.

A hand carved eating spoon, six inches long, a toggle and Viking era reproduction bead on a 30” length of paracord 275 forms a cool lanyard for your noggin, wooden cup or water bottle. The spoon is sugar maple, the toggle is spalted yellow birch and the bead is glass. Before the industrial age many, if not most drinking vessels were of wood for the common people. Often carved from beautiful burls. The cups carved by Native Americans and French Voyageurs were called noggins or canoe cups. They used toggled cords to secure their noggins to a belt, sash or pack. I put these together as companions for noggins and wooden cups, water bottles or whatever else. These are just so useful for attaching anything to your belt or pack. This one can easily substitute as an anywhere, anytime spoon! Handy. Seasoned with a food safe mixture of coconut oil, mineral oil and beeswax. Thank you for looking.
