A serving ladle carved with hand tools, a hatchet and knives from foraged beech. This one has a bug bite on the outside of the bowl. Oh those bugs! Hauled out of the woods on my back, carved by hand and then seasoned with a food safe mixture of coconut oil, mineral oil and beeswax. This is an eleven inch serving spoon or ladle with a deeper bowl, suitable for those hearty stews and thick chilis, casseroles, gravy, sauces, salsas and the like. A great gift idea and an even better tool for your own kitchen. I do not carve many ladles like this so grab this now if you want an heirloom quality wooden utensil in your life. Created in a green way without electricity, power tools or all that noise and dust. Can you hear that knife work? Thank you for looking.
